Babes Wodumo is Pregnant!

A baby’s on the way for Babes Wodumo.

The “Wololo” hitmaker was photographed celebrating her 27th birthday last Thursday, 25 March, at the Eyadini Lounge in Umlazi in the company of her fiance, Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo, and their friends.

In the pictures, fans immediately homed in on her protruding belly, as emphasised by her form-fitting beige dress.

A source told a media outlet that Wodumo – real name Bongekile Simelane – is close to six-months-pregnant.

The source explained: “We were told to keep it shut until they come out with it. Even though we were strictly directed not to, pictures were taken at her birthday party and made it online. [Wodumo and Mampintsha] still don’t want to talk about it until they are ready.”

The news has been a cause for concern among fans, who also noticed Wodumo sipping champagne and smoking a hookah pipe at her party.

One Twitter user wrote: “Congratulations Babes Wodumo on your pregnancy. Please don’t drink too champopo for the sake of unborn baby [sic].”

Another wrote: “I will stick to believing that she was just bloated. It happens shem [sic].”
